Offcuts used to make awards

The Digitalization Award has been upgraded and is now constructed from industrial waste! Specifically, the trophies are crafted from acrylic offcuts sourced from the trucking industry and surplus wood from tabletop production.

The design is the work of Rasmus Emil Tofthøj, a member of Maker, and a part of THE UPCYCL.

We love projects like these, big or small, because they emphasize the importance of utilizing materials that already exist! Materials like these come in a continuous supply, which ensures uniformity and standardization if you were to implement New Waste in your supply chain.

We think these new awards look fantastic! What a great project because we can only be circular together.
